This painting originates from a photograph I captured many years ago, featuring the iconic French car: THE 4L (pronounced "Quatrelle" in French). This car is an emblem of 1970s French popular culture, having played a prominent role in numerous movies and songs that shaped my upbringing.

Undoubtedly, this painting carries a wave of nostalgia for my childhood in France. Creating it was a gratifying journey, during which I paid meticulous attention to the car's distinct lines. The sideways sliding windows, an unusual feature even back then, give it a unique character, and its overall shape resembles that of a box.
