Looking at this painting I did in Marblehead, MA brings back so many great memories. We used to start our day early to avoid traffic. Instead of taking the busy highways, we'd drive along the slower, prettier roads. It took longer, but it was worth it for the views. When we got there, we'd treat ourselves to yummy pastries at a cute coffee shop in Marblehead. Just thinking about them makes me hungry! Then I'd set up my painting stuff and find the perfect spot to paint. I usually spent a little over two hours on each painting because the light kept changing, making it tricky to paint for longer. When I finished painting, we'd head back home, feeling happy and content after a great day. |
