This painting was commissioned by one of my collectors who wanted to give his parents a painting of the house where he grew up.

This home went through several changes but it is now the home of his parents who did an amazing job restoring it. He told me exactly the point of view from where I should paint. I really enjoyed doing this painting because of all the family stories. The painting had a soul even before being painted.
