This painting was commissioned by a lovely lady who wanted to give her daughter a painting commemorating their recent trip to this beautiful village in the South of France “St Paul de Vence”.

From the beginning she told me what was important for her to be in the painting, like the shop signs on the stone walls. I love painting commissioned paintings, because the inspiration of the customer is half the job, I just need to follow it.
