This is the second painting of a new series called “Walk the Talk”. Becoming an art teacher and instructor, I have realized I have not been using the skills that I have taught in my own production. My next challenge as an artist was to utilize the skills I teach. After many years of teaching, I learned I could improve on utilizing color theory and composition. I used a photo of a stunning medieval village in France. As you can see, my rules are hard to follow!
